The Department of Physics, University of the Punjab is organising First International conference on Advances in Functional Materials (ICAFM-23) to be held on February 20-22, 2023. In the conference eminent scientists from all over the globe are participating. More prominently Prof Chuanbao Cao (China), Thomas Anthopoulos (Saudi Arabia), Daeyoung Jeong (South Korea), Sunkon Lee (South Korea), Ian Maclaren (UK), Arshad Saleem Bhatti (Pakistan), and many distinguished scientists from Pakistan will share their research in multidisciplinary areas of materials physics and technology. The Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar will be the chief guest of the conference. More than 250 participants will participate in the conference. The event will be sponsored by the Department of Physics, University of the Punjab, Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) Italy, ORIC (PU) and HEC. The series of ICAFM will continue in future to provide a platform for showcasing advances in materials research.
