LAHORE: (Thursday, March 2, 2023): Punjab University Institute of Languages and Linguistics (IoLL) in collaboration with Russian Center for Science and Culture, Karachi has organized seminar on ‘Scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students in Russia’ here on Thursday. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Prof Dr Javed Iqbal Qazi, Director Russian Center for Science and Culture Ruslan Prokhorv, Assistant Professor of IoLL Dr Ekaterina Gavrishyk, representatives of state universities of Russia and a large number of students were present. In his address, Dr Qazi said that there are opportunities for higher education in Russia, for which the awareness seminar will be fruitful. He said that PU students could get admission in Russian universities to get affordable education in art, science and technology. He said that organizing such activities reduces the communication gap between each other and promotes relationships as well. The participants of the delegation discussed how Pakistani students can get affordable and quality education in Russian universities through scholarships. He said that the exchange program for students and teachers will strengthen the relations between the two countries. Later souvenirs were presented to the participants of the delegation.
