LAHORE: (Sunday, March 5, 2023): Punjab University Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) has organized concluding ceremony of two-day international conference on ‘Trends and Challenges in Health Sciences’. On this occasion, Chairman Pakistan Science Foundation Prof Dr Shahid Baig, CEMB Director Prof Dr Kausar Malik, eminent scientist from US, Japan, Taiwan, faculty members and eminent scientists from different prestigious institutes of Pakistan were present. In his address, Dr Shahid Baig applauded the progress made by CEMB in Health Sciences and said that CEMB has always been at forefront in field of Molecular Biology. Dr Kausar Malik thanked Prof Dr Shahid Baig and other participants for joining the conference. In poster competition, among the 35 presenters, Noor Fatima from Panjwani Centre ICCBS, University of Karachi won the first position; Mubashra Inam from Kinnaird College for women and Sana Khawer from KIBGE University of Karachi won second and third positions respectively. Later, souvenirs were presented to the participants and organizers.
