PU’s 1750th Syndicate meeting LAHORE: (Monday, May 22, 2023): The 1750th meeting of the Punjab University Syndicate was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mahmood. In the meeting, with the efforts of the PU VC Dr Khalid Mahmood, the recommendations of the Finance & Planning Committee, which have been pending for a year, have been approved and the creation of new teaching posts for departments suffering from shortage of teachers has been approved. In his statement, PU VC Dr Khalid Mahmood said that filling the shortage of teachers would not only promote the research culture in the university but also help improve student teacher ratio to impart quality education. While thanking to the members, the VC said that the members of the syndicate were keen to further improve the quality of the university and promote education and research.
