On October 05, 2023, the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), in collaboration with Center for Applied Molecular Biology (CAMB), celebrated World Teachers’ Day with a special guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Riazuddin (S.I, T.I, H.I), the founding director of CEMB. During his insightful lecture, Prof. Dr. Riazuddin described the history of the establishment of twin centers, CEMB and CAMB, with brief details of the complications and challenges faced during that time. He appreciated all his team members who were with him during his tenure as Director of CEMB, which lasted for more than three decades. He emphasized the importance of setting goals in life and finding the right way to achieve those goals. The session was started with the welcome note of Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman, Director of CEMB, and the vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Dr. Rehan Sadiq Shaikh, Director of CAMB. It was a memorable event that celebrated the importance of education and the contributions of teachers to society.
