We are excited to announce the formalization of a collaborative agreement between the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) University of the Punjab and Evyol Group, Multan on October 17, 2023, heralding a transformative era in agricultural innovations. This strategic partnership will mark a significant milestone in the pursuit of excellence in multiplication, production, sales and development of new cotton varieties by exploiting CKC technology pioneered at CEMB. This collaboration is set to bring forth innovations that will redefine the landscape of cotton production and drive the sector to new heights of success. The partnership is under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, who played a pivotal role in the collaboration. The signing ceremony was attended by esteemed personalities, including Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman, Director of CEMB, and Mr. Asif Majeed, CEO of Evyol Group, senior researchers of Evyol Group, Dr. Khalid Abdullah (Ex-Cotton Commissioner) and Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Bandesha (Renowned Cotton Breeder).
