On October 27, 2023, a delegate from the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE) visited the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) to discuss potential collaboration in the field of Health Biotechnology. During the meeting, the NIBGE researchers expressed their keen interest in exploring new technologies and innovations that could help enhance the quality of health Biotech products. Professor Dr. Mazhar Iqbal discussed his research on the potential of natural products as antiviral agents and their possible application in stem cell research. Moreover, Director CEMB Professor Dr. Moazur Rahman discussed the details of vaccine development for human and animal infections, including bursal disease virus and fowl adenovirus. The meeting concluded on a positive note with a vote of thanks by Director CEMB, expressing optimism for future collaboration and joint research efforts.
