Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS), University of the Punjab, Lahore organized a seminar on November, 16, 2023 (Thursday) at 11:00 a.m. on “Sports & 5th Generation Warfare” Mr. Talha Rehmani, Founder & CEO of Saya Corporation, Lahore was the guest speaker.
     The guest speaker started the discussion about the foundation of Saya Corporation and also discussed the main elements and objectives of Saya Corporation working with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He also enlightened how Saya Corporation picked up the cricket talent from grass root level and helped the young cricketers in knowing how to train themselves, together with nutrition required.
     In addition, he also talked about the betting organizations operating in Pakistan and highlighted how the money earned through these tools is used for terrorism & inflicting harm to Pakistan in multitude ways. This unregulated money is eventually becoming a powerful money laundering tool.
     All faculty members, M.Phil./Ph.D. scholars of the CSAS and various department of University of the Punjab, Lahore attended the event in which research scholars and the students participated actively.
