LAHORE: (Friday, December 22, 2023): A colorful family food festival was organized by Punjab University Club here on Friday. In this regard, an inaugural ceremony was held at the club's lawns. Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Dean Faculty of Economics, Business and Administrative Sciences Professor Dr. Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry, Chairman Club Committee Dr. Munawar Iqbal, teachers, officers, their families and a large number of children participated in the ceremony. Stalls of food and various items of garments, technology were set up in the festival. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood said that the aim of the family food festival is to provide the best entertaining environment to teachers and families. He said that the family food festival has provided an opportunity for teachers' families and children to meet each other. He said that the best facilities and quality food are being provided at subsidized rates in the University Club. In this regard, he appreciated the efforts of all teachers to improve the club. He said that he will further improve the quality of facilities in the club. Dr Munawar Iqbal said that high quality food is being provided at fair prices in the festival. He said that jumping castle and trampoline have been provided free of charge for children in the festival. He said that the University Club is an excellent institution for teachers to socialize away from the office environment. The teachers thanked the Vice-Chancellor and the Management Committee for providing the best recreational opportunity. Later, Vice Chancellor and others also visited various stalls.
