LAHORE: (Wednesday, January 17, 2024): Punjab University students including Zaman Sohail, Ahmad Mubarak, Ali Akber and Barkat Ali have won the All Pakistan Intervarsity Chess Championship organized by Liaqat University Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshooro. Assistant Director Sports Muhammad Nabeel was the team manager while Waseem Akram was the coach. In the event, as many as 20 universities participated from all over the country.
