Department of Gender Studies, in collaboration with the Marie Stops Society, organized a thought-provoking seminar in the honor of International Women's Day. The event featured a lineup of esteemed guest speakers, including representative MSS, Aamir Yousaf, renowned journalist. Mr Salman Abid; religious leader,Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Nauman Hamid; Population Welfare Officer Lahore ,Mr Mazhar Iqbal and Chairperson, Department of Gender Studies, Professor. Dr. Ra’ana Malik. Each speaker offered unique perspectives on gender equality, women’s health, women's empowerment, and the challenges that women are facing worldwide. From grassroots advocacy to policy reform, the speakers inspired and enlightened attendees as they celebrated the achievements of women and explored avenues for continued progress towards gender parity.
