LAHORE: (Friday, February 02, 2024): In connection with the celebrations of Chinese New Year, the Pak-China joint chamber of commerce and industry (PCJCCI) has organized an event at Faletti's hotel, Lahore. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Governor of the Punjab Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman, Chinese Consul General, various political, social and business personalities. A delegation from Punjab University teacher and students led by the Host Director PU Confucius Institute Prof Dr Shafiq ur Rahman also participated in the event. Students of PU Confucius Institute performed Chinese songs, adding a special charm to the event. Dr Shafiq ur Rahman also met with the President of PCJCCI to discuss important matters. The Chinese consul general met with faculty and students of Punjab University, provided encouragement and motivation.
