LAHORE: (Wednesday, February 14, 2024): Punjab University Institute of Business Administration (IBA) organized ‘Job Fair-24’ to provide better career opportunities to the students of the institution. In this regard, the opening ceremony was held in the lawn of IBA in which PU VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Dean Faculty of Business, Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof Dr Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry, Director IBA Prof Dr Muqqadas Rehman, faculty members and a large number of students were present. Speaking at the event, PU VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood said that the presence of international and well-known national companies in the job fair is commendable. He said that such activities give guidance to the students regarding future careers. He congratulated the Director IBA for organizing the successful job fair. Prof Dr Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry said that it is a fruitful activity and it is a matter of pleasure that our alumni are representing the companies at the stalls. Prof Dr Muqqadas Rehman said that 60 companies are participating in the job fair and there is a very good response. She said that if cooperation is promoted in educational institutions and industries in Pakistan, the country's economy will move towards further improvement and the young generation will benefit.
