A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS), University of the Punjab, Lahore, and Center of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR), Islamabad on February 16, 2024. The Director CSAS, Dr. Naheed S. Goraya, and President COPAIR, Ms. Amna Munawwar Awan signed the MoU. The MoU aimed at holding joint academic trainings for researchers and arranging workshops & roundtable discussions on the areas of common interest. Ms. Amna agreed to offer paid internships to the students in the digital diplomacy at her institute.
Dr. Naheed S. Goraya said that both centers will try to deepen and expand the academic relations between local and international think tanks and research institutes that can lead to knowledge sharing and improvement in understanding on South Asia specific regional and international issues.
