PU Department of Gender Studies, organized one-day seminar on Safeguarding Reproductive Health of Women in Punjab, Pakistan The Directorate of Training, Research & Production, Population Welfare Department, Punjab, in collaboration with the Department of Gender Studies, recently organized a pivotal one-day seminar on Safeguarding Reproductive Health of Women in Punjab, Pakistan. It was an honor to have esteemed guests including Ms. Ruksana Kausar, Director of TR&P, PWD; Mr. Yasir Rahim, Senior Research Associate, Research Wing, TR&P; Ms. Razia Sultana, Senior Instructor, PWTI; Dr. Sadaf Ghani, Principal of RTI; Ms. Saman Rai, Director General of Population Welfare; and Dr. Zubda Riaz, Director Technical at Directorate General, Population Welfare, Punjab. Their invaluable perspectives and insights shed light on crucial aspects of reproductive health in Punjab. The seminar concluded with a speech by Chairperson of DGS, Prof. Dr. Ra’ana Malik, who extended gratitude to all the esteemed guests for their contributions to the dialogue.
