LAHORE: (Tuesday, March 26, 2024): Punjab University Academic Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood in which Registrar Dr Ahmed Islam, deans of various faculties, heads of departments and professors participated. In the meeting, the policy regarding affiliated colleges proposed by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan was adopted. According to the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, for the first time, approval was given to start a joint degree program of BS Agri-Business with the collaboration of two different departments i.e Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Hailey College of Commerce. The Academic Council has also given permission to start several degree programs at the BS, MS and PhD levels.
