PU IEEE and EERDC organize Seminar LAHORE: (Tuesday, April 30, 2024): Punjab University Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering (IEEE) and the Energy Engineering Research & Development Centre in collaboration with USPCASE, National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad organized a seminar on the importance and potential of collaborative efforts in providing practical, result-oriented solutions were highlighted. The seminar aimed to provide valuable insights into critical environmental topics and sustainable practices within the energy and environmental sectors, focusing on technological and engineering solutions. Dr Asif Hussain Khoja and Dr Abeera Ayaz Ansari from USPCASE, NUST, delivered lectures on energy, fuels, and climate change and emphasized indigenous resources and innovative waste-to-energy solutions. Dr Abeera also presented her research on the ecological challenges facing Manchar Lake, underscoring the urgent need for conservation efforts. Dean Faculty of Electrical, Energy and Environmental Engineering Prof Dr Hamed Sattar lauded the efforts organizers for arranging a fruitful seminar. Faculty members and students from various departments, including the Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering (IEEE), Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (ICET), Institute of Polymer and Textile Engineering (IPTE) and College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) attended the seminar.
