LAHORE: (Tuesday, May 07, 2024): Punjab University Pakistan Study Centre organized a Book Talk on "Jinnah & Gandhi: A Comparative Study of Charismatic Leadership". Book author Rai Shabbir Ahmad of University of Gujrat, PSC Director Prof Dr Naumana Kiran, faculty members and students were present on the occasion. In his address, Rai Shabbir presented a comparative analysis of the charismatic personalities of Jinnah and Gandhi. The book, which consists of an introduction, conclusion, and four chapters, delves into the lives and leadership styles of these two historical figures. He explored the events leading up to the Round Table Conference and then till 1948 offered a comparison of Jinnah and Gandhi's approaches to politics and nation-building. Dr Naumana Kiran presented her views on the matter under discussion and expressed her gratitude to the guests and the participants for their presence in the event.
