PU CLDM board of studies meeting held LAHORE: (Tuesday, May 07, 2024): Punjab University Center for Leadership and Decision Making organized its first meeting of the reconstituted Board of Studies. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Center’s Director Prof Dr Saima Ghazal, experts including Dr Jawad Syed, Prof of Organizational Behavior and Leadership at LUMS; Head at Systems Ltd Toima Asghar, Mohsin Nishat from Serena Group of Companies, Executive Director at University of Arts & Sciences Dr Furqan Humayun, Head of HR New Business at Fatima Group Adeel Anwar, Khurram Munir from Infotech Group and other industry experts and department heads from various universities were present on the occasion. In his address, the VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood commended the director and board members for their proactive efforts. He highlighted the university's commitment to fostering academic excellence and industry collaboration. He also presented PU’s souvenirs to the guests. Dr Saima Ghazal expressed profound gratitude to the esteemed Board members for their unwavering support and invaluable contributions towards advancing the mission. She shared her vision, articulated LeaD's aspiration to emerge as a premier center of excellence in organizational psychology in Pakistan, signifying a bold step towards shaping the future of leadership and decision-making in the region. The meeting discussed key agenda items included deliberations on strategic planning to realign center’s objectives, criteria refinement for student and professional recruitment into the Advanced Diploma in Organizational Psychology (ADOP) and other certificate programs, teacher selection and training, as well as curriculum enhancements to better address organizational demands.
