Directors of the Institutes of Applied Psychology and Clinical Psychology at the University of the Punjab respectively, were guest speakers at the Second National Conference organized by the Institute of Clinical Psychology at the University of Karachi Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique and Prof. Dr. Saima Dawood, directors of the Institutes of Applied Psychology and Clinical Psychology at the University of the Punjab respectively, were guest speakers at the Second National Conference on "Substance use and mental health comorbidities in youth: challenges and opportunities in prevention and treatment" organized by the Institute of Clinical Psychology at the University of Karachi. The conference aimed to address substance abuse and its impact on youth mental health in Pakistan. As psychology experts, Professors Rafique and Dawood shared insights on dealing with these challenges. The event provided a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss prevention and treatment strategies for substance abuse and associated mental health issues among Pakistani youth.
