LAHORE: (Wednesday, December 21, 2022): Punjab University Library Book Club conducted introductory talk on the books on ‘Transformative Realism: How to overcome the system crisis” by Marc Saxer and ‘Tasawwuf: Talash Ahsan ki Hama-Geer Tehreek’. On this occasion, PU Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani, Institute of Islamic Studies Associate Professor Dr Saeed Ahmed Saeedi, Centre for South Asian Studies Assistant Professor Dr Marium Kamal, faculty members and students were present. Dr Saeed Ahmed Saeedi talked about the Urdu book. He elaborated on the theme of the book while narrating extracts from the book. Dr Marium Kamal shed light on ‘Transformative Realism’. She presented the notions of the author while relating these to the Pakistani context. Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani thanked the speakers and audience for their lively contribution to the program.
